The theoretical part of the course includes a historical background in animation, references to the experimental and artistic approaches of Animation, description of traditional and new techniques, typification of expressive idioms and narrative practices in animation.
The laboratory part focuses on the method of Stop Motion Animation in the digital age and makes use of simple techniques that can be performed in the personal computers or other portable devices of the students of the Msc
With individual and group exercises, students become familiar with the production of animated films for educational or interpretive purposes.
