Music and sound as tools for interdisciplinary teaching with new Technologies

In this course are presented, at a theoretical level, issues related to thesound and musical creativity of students using the tools of musictechnology (depending on the needs of the subject), as well as a method of using music and sound as means for interdisciplinary teaching in the new digital school.

Theory

- Historical review of the music with references to the socio-cultural

context of the era.

- Listening to works from different eras through a large database and introduction to music culture through structural analysis.

- Emphasis on the music of the 20th century, the development of music

industry and the spread of music information through new media.

- Interdisciplinary approach to music with other disciplines (positive

and humanities) as well as with other arts.

Laboratory

- Operation of simple software related to the management and

processing of music information.

- Organizing interactive lessons via internet with the tool of sound and

music.

-Designing an educational intervention based on the students'

knowledge (eg, mathematics, literature, history) through music or

sound on an interactive platform.
