The course meets modern requirements regarding the analysis of quantitative data using appropriate software. The aim of the course is to familiarize students with the formulation of research hypotheses, quantitative methodology issues such as conceptual operationalization, measurement scales, psychometric properties of measurement tools and data analysis with SPSS.
The latter will include data preparation for statistical processing, descriptive statistics, investigation of research hypotheses using inductive statistical methods and an introduction to Exploratory Factor Analysis.
Additionally, the aim of the courseistohelpstudents in the interpretation and writing and presentation of statistical processing results.
Uponcompletion of the course, students will be able to collect and statistically analyze their data, as well as interpret the results of their research appropriately for decision-making. In addition, the ability to present and document results using appropriate documentation will be cultivated. The above will significantly contribute to the readiness of the students in terms of the preparation of their diploma thesis or scientific publications within the framework of the PMS.
